Creda 950DL electric shower

The range

Designed to provide the convenience of a push button start / stop facility. A simple push on the button starts the shower at the pre-set power and flow rate, reducing the need for constant adjustment. To stop the shower, simply push the button again, allowing the power and flow settings to remain set for the next user.

"Spent hours/days looking for best value shower...this is it! Good features: 5 spray choices, chrome shower head, fairly powerful spray (for those on water meter, you can reduce water flow by putting shower on medium setting) and push button start/stop (water flow continues for 2 seconds when stopping to prevent overheating). Slight problems with installation-even the plumber found one bit tricky but now its in place I'm glad I chose this shower!"

"The shower is very good, in fact almost too good.
When on the 'high' heat setting it is only just possible to get it cool enough using the temperature dial - however this should be good during winter when the water coming in is much colder. Also the red and blue seem to be the wrong way round on the temperature dial until you see that the red and blue are arrows pointing the other direction ! weird.
BUT 5 stars cos it is a great shower!"

"Good spray pattern,reasonably strong water flow,and although It's only just been fitted and I haven't yet experimented with the flow and heat settings,I have found it to be excellent in the middle range of it's settings....overall I'd give this shower unit 99%,with the option off making it up to 100% after trying different settings"

"Very good shower, great value!
BUT BE CAREFUL OF FOLLOWING:

Do not use push fit plastic plumbing to connect into the shower. It cannot form a tight enough compression.

On the shower unit iyself, do not remove the metal compression nut from the plastic end that receives the water, it will not thread back on again!
Follow the above and you'll find this an excellent purchase, good quality shower, great flow strength, great price!"

"The shower was easy to fit and it is very powerful as I'd had a 8.5kW one previously so noticed a great difference with the power and temperature of this. Real value for money. The only thing I would say that is negative is the shower head is small, so I used the large one I'd had with my old shower."

"This shower we purchased from Argos on special offer (it was half price at the time)

The shower stops and starts very quickly, the water heats up after about 10 seconds of being switched on, it was easy enough to install. The main good thing about it is that for the money we paid it has chrome attachments many at a similar price have white plastic fittings which look cheap.

At the end of the day a shower's a shower and it gets used 2/3 times a day and we have no issues with it whatsoever, which is what it's supposed to do. I've never had an overheat shutdown.

My only grip is it has plenty of heat settings, what are the point of them, I don't live in a country where I need a freezing cold shower to cool down, I like it warm or very warm so I leave it on the hot setting and use the dial to adjust the temperature. It would look nicer if it had on/off and temperature adjust only. Still that's not much of a gripe really, if you can buy it on a cheap Argos deal I'd recommend, I wouldn't buy it full price."
